Scientific American: The Brain Has a Special Kind of Memory for Past Infections

     Today I read an article about specialized immune cells. It said that the brain and spinal cord has immune cells. There are proteins, cells, entire organs around immune cells in order to ward off invader. The brain memorizes the body's past infections. Because of the memory, it's not likely that we get sick.
